Hi Everyone:

Well, the news gets a little better each day. This morning the surgeon removed two of the three drainage tubes. A simple procedure perform in her room. The only medication that she receives now via the IV PICC line is her Patient Controlled Anesthetic. She only uses that as a backup since she is attempting to control her pain with oral medication. There is the hint of a discharge on Wednesday. If she thinks she can do without the PCA she will probably get her walking papers. Speaking of walking, she sets a very good pace in the halls. Everybody knows to make way for Vikki.

Our prayer now is for Vikki to controll her pain with oral medication. She may come home with the one remaining drain tube with the possibility of removal early next week.

Hopefully I will be posting news of her discharge tomorrow. Gregg

Great news Vikki! We will pray for major pain reduction so you can go home. Less pain well that would be fantastic anyway. Indy is helping me write tonight and he has a way of laying his ears flat, wiggleing his bottom and charging a head. He looks like a fercious yoda. So Vikki put your yoda ears on and go for it.
